Match Report | Fantastic start to the new season for the under 7's in their first game of the winter league winning 9-1. After going behind in the first few minutes, Ripley soon equalised and started to dominate the game with Thomas Rankin scoring a hat trick and Ciaran Gillespie scoring 2 to lead the game at half time 5-1 with keeper Jack Langley having very little to do. The second half started as the first finished with Ripley looking very composed and troubled very little by the opposition. Ripley extended the lead further with Thomas Rankin scoring 1 more, Ciaran Gillespie scoring 2 to get his hat trick and Aeron Broadhurst completed the scoring. A very satisfying result and a very good team performance all round. Man of the match was awarded to Thomas Rankin |
