Match Report | Ripley continued their great start to the season following on from last weeks goal fest with another 9 goal haul. Ripley started the game as they finished last week and were 3 nil up inside the first 10 minutes with Thomas Rankin getting his hatrick with some superb finishes. New players Zak Annabel and Daniel wilson were introduced into the game and ripley lost a bit of shape with Blidworth pulling 2 goals back Ripley extended the lead with Thomas scoring his forth to lead at half time 4-2. Ripley started the second half the stronger team and started to dominate the game. First half keeper Ciaran Gillespie came out of the net and scored his hatrick. Some sloppy defending by Ripley allowed Blidworth to pull the game back but further goals a first from Alvero Gaughan Moreno and a fine finish by Aeron Broadhurst in the last few minutes completed the scoring with Ripley coming out on top with a 9- 5 win. Man of the match was Ciaran Gillespie |
