Match Report | Ripley returned to winning ways with a convincing 7 -1 win against Mansfield Athletic .Ripley started the game very brightly and were 2 goals up in the first 5 minutes, Thomas Rankin scoring both. Ripley dominated the half with some fine defending from Jack Langley and Seb Askew they then increased the lead by a further 4 goals, 3 by Thomas Rankin and 1 by Cieran Gilespie to lead 6-0 at half time. Mansfield came more into the game in the second half and got a deserved goal mid way through the half. Ripley continued to create chances and Cieran Gilespie scored his second of the game a good team performance after last weeks defeat. Man of the match was Jack Langley. |
