Ripley Rangers U7s 2-12 Market Warsop
Ripley produced a disappointing performance, looking rusty from the outset after a lengthy
lay off due to recent postponements and the Christmas break.
Ripley conceded three goals early on looking disjointed at the back, gifting Market Warsop
chances galore with some generous defending. Things deteriorated further with two more
goals before the break leaving Ripley trailing 5-0.
Two early goals in the second, half both fine individual efforts from Thomas Rankin
appeared to restore some confidence. Ripley then enjoyed a brief flurry of pressure before
conceding on the counter attack to make the score 6-2. This seemed to damage
confidence further and despite some good saves from second half goal keeper Thomas
Harrison Market Warsop ran out convincing winners 12-2. |
